Terms and Conditions - Beat Store

The following Terms and Conditions apply to only the Studio 222 Beat Store and not any other services offered by Studio 222 Recording.

THIS AGREEMENT, made upon purchase of lease serves as a legally binding contract between Studio 222 Recording (hereafter company or Studio 222 Recording), the Artist (the person or party purchasing the beat) hereafter “Licensee” This agreement grants the Licensee non-exclusive rights to any and all instrumentals purchased (“hereafter Instrumental").

 

1. SCOPE. Studio 222 Recording and its affiliate producer hereby grants the Licensee the right to record vocal and/or instrumental synchronization to any or all parts of the Instrumental. The Licensee understands that their non-exclusive usage of the Instrumental is limited to one new composition and if the Licensee wishes to use the Instrumental in other new compositions, then the Licensee must obtain another license to use the Instrumental from the Licensor. The Licensee also agrees to refrain from editing the Instrumental that is being licensed in this agreement, by changing the arrangement of the Instrumental or by removing any melodies, instruments, drum programming or sounds that are contained within the Instrumental.

 

2. PROFITABLE DISTRIBUTION. The Licensee is limited to distributing one (1) version of the Master Recording for profitable use. The Licensee is limited to a distribution of Five Thousand (5000) copies of the Master Recording, which can be distributed on any kind of recorded media including, but not limited to: compact discs, DVDs, VHS videos, and all other forms of media. The Licensee is limited to distributing One-Hundred Thousand (100,000) digital streams across all digital music platforms. Should the Licensee exceed these terms, they may renew their lease at TRND Music’s discretionary price.

 

3. OWNERSHIP. The Licensor maintains 100% of full rights (copyright and ownership) of the instrumental, and can continue to sell it non-exclusively and/or exclusively. The Licensee has neither the right nor authority to sell or license the rights to the Instrumental whether in whole or part to any other party. In the event another individual purchases exclusive rights to your licensed Instrumental, The Licensee will retain non-exclusive rights under the limitations listed in this agreement until these terms have been fulfilled.

 

4. CREDIT. The Licensee must give production credit to the PRODUCER for any and all distributed material. The Licensor and reserves the right to keep an audio signature at the beginning of all non-exclusive instrumentals Studio 222 Recording will maintain 33% ownership. The Licensor will maintain 33% ownership. You automatically agree to the terms and conditions stated above and gain non-exclusive rights to the Instrumental. Any breach in this contract will result in the terms being void, and allows for Studio 222 Recording and/or The Licensor to pursue legal action.

*The above Terms and Conditions are subject to change at the owner/operator's discretion and without prior notice. It is there under the responsibility of the beat holder to be aware of any changes that occur under the Terms and Condition of the Studio 222 Beat Store.
